Post our flyer Michigan Needs You to Take this Survey!  at your social organization, church, retirement community or healthcare agency.

In a first for the LGBT community, the Michigan Office of Services to the Aging is spearheading a statewide effort to survey the needs and concerns of the over age 50 LGBT community and those over 18 with a disabling condition. This is a first in the nation and is being done in collaboration with the LGBT Older Adult Coalition and the Gay Elders of Southeast Michigan, a group seeking affiliation with national SAGE (Services and Advocacy for Gay Elders).

You can also email Laura Champagne of Gay Elders of Southeast Michigan or Kathleen LaTosch of the LGBT Older Adult Coalition for help with the survey or to address any questions you may have.

All surveys responses are confidential.  The online survey is currently scheduled to close on August 26th.

Don’t delay – take the survey today!
