Virtual Retirement Communities are popping up all around the country. With nearly 140 villages across 40 states, these Virtual Villages connect their members to peer-referrals for any kind of service needed. The services range from household repair to daily chores; including yard work, prescription pick up, transportation, or even personal trainers.

These Virtual Villages also aid in connecting their members to one another for social engagement and activity, using volunteering to reduce the cost of membership for others. These virtual villages act as an organizer of community resources, and a social facilitator for otherwise isolated members.
